To change the current value you need to change the number shown in the picture bellow to the one you want and click on "Update". The Integers work different than the Booleans, instead of TRUE/FALSE you have a set number of options to select from that go from 0 to whatever the amount of answers are available for each Plot Flag. To change a Boolean you only need to double click on it and it will change between TRUE and FALSE.Īs you may realize this is very intuitive since Ehamloptiran has written a question for all the known Plot Flags so far. Now we can see all the Plot Flags available for that save and make the changes we want.Īs we can see there are 2 types of variables, Interegers and Booleans. Now that we know what each file is lets open DAISaveGameEditor.exeĬlick "Open" and look for the save file you want to edit (but make sure to make a buckup of your save as mentioned before)Īn easy way to know what was your last save is to look for the last modified file (sorry but my pc is in spanish :?) Inside the folder "DAISaveGameEditor" there are 2 files, one is DAISaveGameEditor.exe (the program itself) and PlotFlagsMapping.txt (which has all the Plot Flags that you can change). Now lets get to how to use this program ) Also it can only edit whats already in the save at this time, so cannot add new values. You can update the PlotFlagsMapping.txt with new values so they appear in the editor.
Every flag can be changed, however I have no idea what most of them do at this time, so anything could happen.
Be warned, very little checking going on, so very easy to break things, always backup and dont save over the same save. Heres a quick GUI that I wrote, it'll display all the Plot Flags from the save, pretty name if it has one, and allows you to change the value and save out to a new save.
